On October 27, in Quy Nhon City, the Binh Dinh Provincial Police and the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board held a Preliminary Conference to access the results of the implementation of the coordination regulation between the two sides during the past time (from December to October 2022), and at the same time present ideas and tasks in the future.
Attending at the meeting were leaders of provincial police, leaders of professional departments and local police in the area of economic zones and industrial zones; Leaders of EZ Management Board, leaders of specialized departments, affiliated units and representatives of investors in infrastructure of EZs and industrial zones, including Saigon - Nhon Hoi Industrial Park Corporation (SNP) – Chủ đầu tư KCN Nhơn Hội A.
The conference unanimously assessed that over the past 2 years, the coordination between the Provincial police and the Economic Zone Authority under the regulations continues to be enhanced and strengthened. The specialized departments, professional units and subordinate units of the 2 agencies have actively coordinated and promptly coped with intricate scenarios arising in order to ensure national security, maintain social safety and fight against crime in the economic zone. As a result, the Economic zone’s security is stable, contributing to attract many investment projects. Up to October 2022, there are 402 projects with a total investment of about 144,901 billion VND in the Economic zone and industrial park (implemented capital of about 42,269 billion VND, accounting for 29.2% of the total investment capital, including 40 FDI projects with a total investment of 616.8 million USD)
In the context of deepening international economic integration, Binh Dinh province is stimulating to attract investment into the industrial park and the economic zone in the coming time. In addition, the provincial police and the Economic Zone Management Board will coordinate more closely to ensure social peace and stability; frequently organize activities to propagate legal education; effectively sustain people’s movement to protect national security in economic zones and industrial parks.
In that spirit, Saigon - Nhon Hoi Industrial Park Corporation (SNP) will continue to coordinate with the Binh Dinh Provincial Police and the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to promote the achieved results, try to perform well the security work in the industrial park as well as create a safe investment environment, helping investors feel secure in their production and business activities.
