Binh Dinh Economic Zone Authority has recently approved a wood processing and furniture manufacturing project with a total investment of over 182 billion VND, covering an area of more than 4.9 hectares and an expected production scale of 20,000 products per year.
Binh Dinh Economic Zone Authority has just approved the investment policy and investor for Duc Toan Binh Dinh Co.,Ltd to implement the Project to expand the Duc Toan Binh Dinh high-class interior and exterior wood processing factory.
Accordingly, the project will be implemented at lots B1-07 and B1-08 in Nhon Hoi Industrial Park – Park A, Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, Nhon Hoi Commune, Quy Nhon City. It covers an area of over 4.9 hectares, with a total investment exceeding 182 billion VND (including 30 billion VND in investor equity). The project is expected to become operational in January 2028.
The project’s objective is to manufacture wooden and other material-based tables, chairs, beds, and cabinets; engage in metalworking, surface treatment, and the production of auxiliary metal components for the indoor and outdoor furniture industry. The projected production capacity is 20,000 products per year, equivalent to 10,000 cubic meters of roundwood and 3,000 tons of various metals (including aluminum, steel, and stainless steel semi-finished products).
Duc Toan Binh Dinh Co., Ltd. was established on August 14, 2020, with Mr. Pham Van Bang as the Director. Notably, the company has already invested in and operates the Duc Toan High-End Indoor and Outdoor Wood Processing Factory in Nhon Hoi Industrial Park – Park A.
The existing factory, with a registered capital of VND 250 billion and a total area of over 4.9 hectares, produces similar products at a scale of 50,000 products per year (equivalent to 20,000 cubic meters of roundwood and 5,000 tons of various metals per year). The company received its investment certificate for this project on September 11, 2020.
Mr. Nguyen Bay, Director of Binh Dinh Investment Promotion Center, confirmed that the Duc Toan Binh Dinh Factory Expansion Project is the first investment project of 2025 in the province.
According to Mr. Bay, the center aims to ensure sustainability in the province’s industrial development index. In 2025, the center will continue to focus on attracting industrial projects, especially in processing and manufacturing, to promote economic restructuring, create high-value-added products, enhance competitiveness, and foster sustainable development.
In particular, for wood processing and furniture exports, the Binh Dinh Investment Promotion Center will actively invite investment in wood processing and furniture manufacturing projects to maximize value addition in this sector.
