In celebration of the upcoming 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand (1976-2026), the conference “Explore Gia Lai, Vietnam: Breakthroughs in Trade and Investment” took place on the morning of October 23, 2025, at the Gia Lai Provincial Convention Center, marking an important milestone in strengthening bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
The event was hosted by the People’s Committee of Gia Lai Province, in collaboration with Becamex Group, Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company and the Federation of Thai Industries (F.T.I), opening new opportunities for connection and promoting sustainable investment potential between the two nations.
The conference welcomed over 100 enterprises, along with domestic and international associations and investment promotion organizations, creating a platform for strategic partnerships and the exploration of new investment opportunities between Vietnam and Thailand.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee, shared that Thailand is currently one of Gia Lai’s most stable and effective foreign investment partners, with 9 active FDI projects totaling over USD 100 million. These projects mainly focus on trade, processing, logistics and services industries.

Thai investors expressed deep interest in preferential policies, transport infrastructure, power and water supply systems, and local labor resources - key factors that determine the province’s industrial investment appeal.
At the same time, Thai enterprises highly appreciated Gia Lai’s transparent, open investment environment, available clean land, and strong growth potential in sectors such as supporting industries, renewable energy, and agricultural processing.
Nhon Hoi A IP, invested by Saigon - Nhon Hoi Industrial Park Corporation - located in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (Quy Nhon Dong ward, Gia Lai province), has become an attractive destination for both domestic and foreign investors, including Thai businesses. With its strategic location, synchronized infrastructure, favorable incentive policies, and sustainable development orientation, Nhon Hoi A IP is regarded as an important gateway in the strategic industrial development corridor of Vietnam’s Central - Central Highlands region.
