In celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2), on the morning of August 19, 2025, at Hoa Hoi commune, Gia Lai province, Saigon - Nhonhoi Industrial Park Corporation (SNP) held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Cat Hanh Industrial Cluster Infrastructure Construction and Business project.
The Cat Hanh Industrial Cluster (IC) covers a total area of 70 hectares with an investment capital of approximately VND 433 billion. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation by December 2026. Located in Tan Hoa Nam Hamlet, Hoa Hoi Commune, the cluster enjoys a strategic position near key transportation routes connecting the Central Highlands and Central Vietnam, facilitating convenient logistics and goods transportation. The IC’s infrastructure will be developed in a modern and synchronized manner, meeting the needs of both domestic and international investors.
Enterprises investing in the Cat Hanh IC will enjoy attractive tax incentives, including: corporate income tax exemption for the first 4 years, 50% tax reduction for the following 9 years and import tax exemption on fixed assets. These preferential policies make the project a “golden destination” for investors seeking opportunities in Gia Lai.
The project aims to attract key industries such as agricultural and forestry processing, furniture manufacturing, garment production, precision engineering, and renewable energy. Once operational, it is expected to create thousands of jobs, boost economic restructuring, and promote sustainable growth for Gia Lai province.
At the ceremony, Mr. Duong Mah Tiep - Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee - conducted the groundbreaking ritual and emphasized that: “Developing modern and well-planned industrial clusters is a key mission in the province’s industrial development strategy, helping create land funds, attract investment, restructure the economy, generate employment, increase budget revenue, and improve local livelihoods.”
Mr. Wong Shang Ling, Founder and CEO of Environmental Landscape PTE LTD (EL) stated that the groundbreaking ceremony of Cat Hanh IC project marked a strategic milestone in the partnership between SNP and EL, oriented toward sustainable, and eco-friendly development.
Also at the event, Mr. Tran Viet Anh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon - Nhonhoi Industrial Park Corporation reaffirmed the company’s commitment to making the project an attractive investment destination that will positively contribute to Gia Lai’s economic growth.
