Within the framework of activities on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam – Japan (21/09/1973 – 21/09/2023) in Binh Dinh province, on the morning July 7th, 2023, in the Exhibition Area – Provincial Convention Center, Saigon – Nhonhoi Industrial Park Corporation (SNP) showcased the information booth for Nhon Hoi A IP in order to introduce and promote the potential, strengths, and opportunities for investment cooperation in Nhon Hoi A IP to Japanese businesses and domestic enterprises.
The event was attended by Mr.Mase Michihiro, Deputy Mayo of Izumisano City; Mr. Kato Hirosuke, Chairman of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association in Sakai City; Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori, General Consulate of Japan in Da Nang City; Mr. Do Thanh Trung, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment.
From Binh Dinh province’s leadership, there were Comrade Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Comrade Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; representatives from Japanese agencies, organizations, and businesses, including Saigon – Nhonhoi with the information booth for Nhon Hoi A Industrial Park at the Exhibition Area.
The information booth for Nhon Hoi A Industrial Park received significant attention and high praise from associations and businesses due to its serious investment in image, documentation, booth design, and a miniture model illustrating the actual factories and infrastructure of the IP. Moreover, the booth attracted a large number of visitors, including many Japanese investors coming to learn more detailed information about Nhon Hoi A Industrial Park.
At the information booth, Japanese investors and domestic businesses could observe the actual model images of the IP and quickly access, and search for information, images, and materials related to the IP, as well as exchange information about investment policies, procedures,… thereby enhancing conectivity and opening up opportunities for future cooperation.
On the occasion of the Investment and Trade Promotion Conference for Japanese businesses in Binh Dinh, Mr. Vo Dinh Long, General Director of Saigon – Nhonhoi Industrial Park Corporation, emphasized: “ With the goal of sustainable and long-term development, Nhon Hoi Industrial Park – Park A will undoubtedly bring sustainable values and benefits to FDI enterprises, especially Japanese businesses, when investing here. Accordingly, Nhon Hoi Industrial Park - Park A is an industrial park that is creating a strong motivation for socio-economic development in the Central region – Central Highlands, belonging to Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, located on Phuong Mai Peninsular, invested by Saigon – Nhonhoi Industrial Park (SNP). The Industrial Park has a total area of 630 ha of which 394 ha is industrial land and 226 ha is for building an urban area. After 18 years of establishment and developmen, up to now, the IP has completed a fully invested technical infrastructure according to the approved adustment plan: a synchronized transporation system, main roads with a width of 45 – 80 meters, internal roads with a width of 20 – 29 meters paved with At-phan asphalt, H30 load capacity; electricity system, water system, rainwater collection system, wastewater treatment system, and telecommunications system have been fully invested and connected to the factory walls of investors.
Thanks to the unique competitive advantages of its strategic location, convenient conditions of transportation, seaports, labor supply conditions, service facilities, strong and resolute policy changes of the Binh Dinh provincial government in improving the investment environment, Nhon Hoi A Industrial Park has become a highly attractive destination for both domestic and foreign investors.
Currently, the IP has attracted a total of 51 production and service business projects, 35 projects that have been put into operation, 16 projects that are in the process of construction; 3 FDI projects, 1 Japanese Investor project(Marubeni Lumber Vietnam Co.,ltd).)This is the first FDI project of Japan investing in Nhon Hoi A Industrial Park, creating an important foundation for attracting and inviting more Japanese investors to invest in Nhon Hoi A Industrial Park and Binh Dinh province in general. This contributes positively to the local economy and creates employment opportunities for thousands of local workers, providing a strong motivation for socio-economic development in the region.
